Prisons, Orphanages, and Community Support Ministries

Believers Legacy Inc. Prisons ministry, orphanage and community building are extensions of our ministry's mandate of responding to the call of Christ in Matthew 25:46 & James 2:14—17; to attend to our dear ones who are incarcerated and to support the less privileged and communities.

As Christians, we believe Christ has called us to the ministry of compassionate care. To show kindness, and to love our fellow humans as ourselves, not only in words but also in deeds.

June 2024 Donations
Therefore, as part of our prisons and community support ministries, in June 2024, in a remarkable display of philanthropy, we made two separate donations. First, we donated some electrical items to the Winneba Prisons, located in the Central Region of Ghana, West Africa, in support of their work.

Our goal is to reach those incarcerated with the Word and love of God, which has the power to transform lives regardless of who we are or where we find ourselves. Also, as a ministry, we believe that the proper upbringing and development of prison officials and the inmates, remains a collective responsibility, hence the donation.

Support for Orphaned and Vulnerable
Our second donation was to Mephebosheth autistic orphanage and training school also located in the Central Region of Ghana, West Africa. The donation again, forms part of the ministry's social responsibility. The gesture is also to alleviate the woes of the vulnerable in society.

Pastoral Encouragement
In presenting the items, Lead Pastor Benjamin Ekow Ghartey stated that, the donation is among a series of gestures we will continue to make to the Prisons and the orphanage home. Beyond the material Donation, Pastor Benjamin prayed and encouraged the children to be of good behavior and also focus on the purpose God has set before them.
